Fourteenth Annual Meeting
29-30 September, 2009, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia
Approximately 125 public and private sector representatives from five Russian Far East regions and Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and from five U.S. states and the District of Columbia participated. Presentations were made by USAID, Exxon-Neftegas Ltd, Gazprom, JSC "RAO Energy System of East", Vladivostok Air, CRDF and others. The breakout sessions held were “Expanding Trans-Pacific Bilateral Trade”, "Community Development and Public-Private Cooperation", and "Opportunities in Applied Technologies".
Thirteenth Annual Meeting
15-16 July, 2008, Tacoma, Washington
The meeting attracted some 100 participants representing six Russian regions and six U.S. states, with the Sakhalin Region, Primorye Territory, Kamchatka Territory, and Tomsk Region and the state of Alaska officially represented. Presentations were made by Exxon-Neftegas Ltd, Chevron Corporation, The Boeing Company, Vladivostok Air, Sakhalin Aviatrassy and Dalavia airlines and Cisco Systems among others. The breakout sessions held were “Energy and Infrastructure”, "Transportation Capacities", and "Technologies Cooperation".
Twelfth Annual Meeting
28-30 August, 2007, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia
The meeting attracted some 120 participants representing seven Russian regions and five U.S. states, with the state of Alaska officially represented. The meeting benefited from a particularly strong private-sector attendance reflected by Exxon-Neftegas Ltd, Sakhalin-Projects (Rosneft), APL/APL Logistics, Vladivostok Air, Sakhalin Aviatrassy and Dalavia airlines and Cisco Systems to name but a few. The breakout sessions held were “Energy and Support Services”, "The Business of Transportation", and "US-Russian Economic Cooperation".
Eleventh Annual Meeting
17-19 October, 2006, San Francisco, California
The meeting attracted some 150 participants, four Russian regions and three U.S. states were officially represented. The meeting benefited from a particularly strong private-sector attendance reflected by Chevron, Exxon-Neftegas, BP, Sakhalin-Projects (Rosneft), FOSS Maritime and Cisco Systems to name but a few. The breakout sessions held were “Energy-Based Cooperation”, "Transportation and Infrastructure ", "Commerce, Investment and Development Opportunities", and "Technologies Cooperation".
Tenth Anniversary Annual Meeting
12-14 September, 2005, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia
The meeting attracted some 250 participants, six Russian Far East regional delegations and benefited from particularly strong private-sector attendance. The breakout sessions held were "Infrastructure: Moving Goods and Personnel", "Business Issues", "Non-Government Organizations: 3rd Sector" and "Regional Development".
RFE-US Bankers Seminar
April 27-28, 2004 - San Francisco
The RAPP three-day seminar in San Francisco brought together 30 U.S. and Russian Far East banking and finance sector professionals to accelerate professional cooperation. Ten Russian Far East Bankers along with over twenty U.S. participants participated in presentations and arrange of thematic discussions.
